I am not a fan of paper piecing, even with the well-written instructions in the book. BUT if you are, then this yet another way paper piecing can be used to create beautiful quilt blocks.

There are 14 pages of how-to if you need to learn paper piecing which starts the book. The author calls the next section a technique notebook and it contains 10 pages of instructions. This chapter covers all the blocks in the book and how they are put together.

Six patterns are included in the book. Each pattern has a colored photo of the block and gives the techniques used to create it. Fabrics are listed and cutting instructions include graphics to help you along the way. Templates and foundation blocks are located next.

The six patterns are used in the six quilted projects. A colored photo is shown above the finished size. Fabric and cutting lists are detailed and the written instructions have lots of graphics to help you make sure you are on the right track. If there are more templates needed to complete the project, they are included in this section at full size.

All in all, this is a well written book with enough detail that any quilter can create beautiful items using paper piecing techniques.
