Reviewer: Barbara Rhoades: November, 2013

If you have never done appliqué, this book will walk you through the many ways it can be accomplished. It is set up in nine lessons beginning with what materials you will need.

From fused to turned edge to machine stitching to actually putting it all together, Ms. Pittman presents the how-to with the written word and lots of graphics.

After the last lesson, you will find the templates for the appliqué pieces used in book. There are five projects which include a lap throw, a wall hanging, a pillow, a tote bag and a table runner. Once you master these, you will be ready to create a project of your own choice – maybe a quilt for that favorite person in your life.
